Getting Properties

Before getting land in Craft World you have to register an avatar in our grid.
There are a few ways to get land in Craft World, first consider renting a sim or a quarter sim from the owners, Craft World functions on a very low-gain basis and uses money from rented sims to maintain the grid and preserve the quality of the service.


To rent an entire sim you have to login into your account in this website with the name and password of your avatar, then and click on the button "Order a region" and answer the few things the form asks you.
Logging into your account again and clicking on "Check your payments" you will see your region, the expiration date (the day after the order) and the button to pay. Usually your region will be online in a few hours. If for some reason your region is not online after one or more days, the expiration date will be updated to match to that day. NOTICE: your order will not be processed if your avatar does not enter Craft, in this case after 5 days your order will be revoked. Read in How to Start to know how to enter Craft.
The cost of a public region is 25 euros a month. If you would like to have a private region (an island accessible only by people you put in a list) the cost of the region is 35 euros a month.
These standard regions in Craft are configured to have up to 45,000 prims though it is better to not exceed 20,000.
Usually they can host 20-25 avatars without problems (we need to test for more people. By default an OpenSim region is configured to have up to 45 people). All this depends also on what there is in the sim, quantity of prims and scripts, sculpts, meshes etc.

You can also rent a quarter sim, you have to ask in world to Licu Rau or Tao Quan who will show you the quarter sims available at the moment. The cost of a quarter sim is 25 euros for a four month period. A quarter sim can't be private but is always public.

If you have a dedicated server with good bandwidth and you would like to run your OpenSim regions in Craft, you are allowed to place a maximum of two regions free. These two free regions must be public and without adult contents. It is not permitted to rent your land for money but you can give some land free of charge. You need to download OpenSim configured for Craft and must ask for coordinates in world to Licu Rau. If you want some more regions, you can ask for them paying a little contribution of 5 euros 4 months for each region. These extra regions can also be private and have adult content within the context of Craft rules.


Another way to have a land in Craft is to connect a sim in your own PC to the grid free of charge. It is only permitted to have one sim on a home connection, we can consider allowing you to put two regions if your connection has a good bandwitdth in upload. These must be public regions. In this case too, you have to download OpenSim for Craft and ask for coordinates. We do not ask for these regions to be online 24/7, your coordinates will be kept available only for you but we ask you to tell us when you think your region will be offline for a long time (a week or more) or if you are abbandoning the place on map. If we do not see a region online for more than one month without any communication from you, the coordinates will be freed and you will need to ask for new ones.
